Exaggeration?


The boys down at the gym know that the old perfesser is a bit
prone to exaggeration, so they always listen to his "stories" 
with just a little bit of skepticism...

"I went to see the doctor the other day for that pain in my 
back," said the old perfesser.

"So what happened?" his friend Merle asked.

"Well, he ran a bunch of tests, gave me some pills and sent me 
home," said the old perfesser. "Told me to stay in bed for a 
week. He also told me to sit down whenever I had to pee.  Can you
imagine that ... A growed man sittin' to pee?"

"Why would he want you to sit just to piss?" asked Merle.

"Well," said the old perfesser, "With my bad back, he doesn't
want me pickin' up anything too big."
